All of the N8 Research Partnership universities are within the top 40 best universities in the UK according to The Complete University Guide.
Durham led the way placing sixth of all 127 universities on the listing.
Institutions were measured on their entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality and graduate prospects. It compiles its data from The National Student Survey, the 2014 Research Excellence Framework and the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). Notably, all of the N8 Research Partnership universities are also within the top 40 best universities in the UK for research quality.
