Making the Best Better

The N8 published a report entitled Making the Best Better – UK Research and Innovation More efficient and effective for the global economy – which documents and analyses evidence of the efficiencies within the higher education research base

The report – published in 2013 – was produced on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and highlights how universities across the UK are working across a range of areas to improve cost efficiencies and the effectiveness of teaching and research.
